Type B Serious weight problem & ear infections

I am a type B who needs to lose 100 pounds. Have lost 20 on high protein diets but can't get beyond that. I live on diets or I gain weight. Am trying the type B diet and am happy with the food but nothing is happening. Still hungrier than the 1200 calories I need to eat to lose even a 1/2 pound a week. Also I have recurrant ear infections, periodic but loud ringing in my ears, and persistent fluid in my ears. Does this mean no dairy? Is that the only problem?
