In Response To: Re: Low hormone level/weight gain (Peter D'Adamo)

I just found out I may have an enlaged thyroid/am expecting TSH results tomorrow. I am wondering what the sideeffects of syntheitc hormones might be. Is weight LOSS one of them? or would that only be the case if my levels became too high? I come from a family with PARA thryoid adenomas in the med. Hx. Would this also be palpable? Please e-mial response.
