In Response To: Type O and Autoimmune Disease (Nita Aines)
Dear Nita, If it makes you feel any better, I'm skeptical of a lot of alternative medicine practices myself. However, i can't see why the O diet shouldn't do you some good under the circumstances you describe. You might even see some improvement in the chronic sinusitis as well. Look at it like this... you're going to eat something today, why not make the choices a little less random? BTW I have seen a simliar condition ( Polymyalgia Rheumatica, a "collagen vascular disease") show a slight preference for type O, and resolve a bit faster in these individuals when they did follow the O diet. They also used less prednisone. Perhaps we'll eventually find out that these inflamatory vasculitis diseases have some viral basis to them. Good luck Peter
