Dear Jackie,

In most instances, the gentle herbs which are made into homeopathics behave pretty much as the crude form (witness the homeopathic description of the usage of Echinacea in Boericke's "Pocket Materia Medica" -virtually identical to the herbal usage in Ellingwood's "Eclectic Materia Medica"). This is generally not true of the toxic herbs or minerals which seem to work the opposite when homeopathically prepared.
