Dear Dr. D'Adamo,
I just purchased your book last week and, found it extremely
interesting. I am one of the rare AB "egnimas".
My doctor just discovered a partial blockage in artery of my
right leg about two weeks ago and, I will be going
in for more tests shortly.
Although I am not aware of my parents blood type, I
am wondering if my father's family may have been where I
inherited the AB Type. My father, aunts and uncle
were all born in a village in Italy founded by Albanians
and Greco-Albanian immigrants in 15th century. My
father died of a coranary occlusion in 1958. My two
aunts and uncle also died suddenly of similar causes.
My two aunts both had mentioned circulatory problems
and "clots" in their legs before their deaths. A cousin
had paralyzing stroke when she was in early 20's.
I don't know there is any connection in all of this
but, reading your book caused me to wonder if perhaps
the blood type might be some kind oflink?
I have one daughter who is AB also. I know many people
of Italo-Albanian heritage who might value knowing if
there is some pattern as well
I was just curious if, in your research, have you
seen such patterns for AB's before? Or, if this
could evenbe considered an AB pattern?
Or, if you ever came across any research
done on Italo-Albanians- being of AB type or prone to
this type of problem? I know there are probably many
factors involved but, I never consdiered blood
type might be one of them, until now.
Your book was "the" hot topic in our office all
last week... I was the third one to buy it.
