The Blood Type Diet Archives Volume 1

b vitamins and depression

1. On p. 87 of ER4YT you mention your father's use of high-potency B-complex to rev up the metabolism of type Os. How high is "high"?

2. How much B-12 and/or folic acid can I safely try for depression? (Not using any medications; just St. John's Wort and some amino acids. Also am seeing a doctor.)

Thank you very much for your help. BTW, I've been doing the O diet for 2 weeks and have lost 6 lbs.; I definitely think I'm "metabolically blocked", but am pleased so far and will be cranking up the exercise.
