The Blood Type Diet Archives Volume 1
Type O/Heritage

I grew up in the South with Black-eyed peas/cornbread and vegetables cooked with bacon/ham with 250 or more years of my ancestors eating the same thing! Your book listed both corn and bacon/ham as foods to avoid for Type O's---Could I have some acquired ability to digest the corn and ham/bacon simular to the way you say in your book the Japanese might have acquired the ability to digest beans over years of eating them--even though this blood type for other ethic background may have a difficult time with beans? I ask this because I can track the beginning of my condition (Ulcerative colitis) back to just after the time I married--When I started eating more pasta and pizza (Wheat, wheat, wheat!) with my husband..and got away from eating the foods I grew up with!!!
