I just reread the section in your book where you suggest that other types than O would not do well on a high protein diet. There is a lot of discussion on a zone diet mailing list I use about blood types, and many type As have reported success with the zone diet. Barry Sears does suggest that some people will need to adjust the ratio of protein to carbohydrate to match their particular metabolism. Do you think type As, Bs, and ABs will benefit from the zone approach combined with avoiding the foods that react negatively with their specific blood type? Is it likely that they may need ato adjust their protein/carbohydrate ratio to include somewhat higher levels of carbohydrates? I noticed there is a posting here on the board from a type A person who has benefited from the zone approach.
