In Response To: Ayurvedic and blood types (Wendy Lessley)
Dear Wendy, Some people see the Kafa type as a sort of type O and the Pitha type as a sort of type A (I may have this backwards!). The problem with all of the traditional "typiing systems" is that they rely on the subjectivity of the examiner, and some studies seem to show that there is often no general agreement amongst even experts when given the same subjects. The beauty of the blood type system is that it utilizes the idea of typification, but allows one to take advantage of the western biomedical database. In essence, a person who iis typed A in my office, should be a type A in Greenwich Hospital, and elsewhere. Peter
