Dear Sylvia, Get the child typed and on the appropriate diet. Then, contact PhytoPharmica in Green Bay WI. Order a compound called "PCO Phytosome." You can mention my name. Give the child 2 capsules (very small capsules, by the way) twice daily away from food. Wait 90 days before starting the Ritalin. PCO Phytosome is a very safe anti-oxidant with specificity for the nervous system. It is made from grape seeds. I've seen some very impressive results in my office with it. This is what I would do if it were my child. Peter
