Attention Deficit Disorder

Hi, My grandson (almost 8 years old) has been diagnosed with ADD. He was seen by a psychologist, a psychiatrist, the teacher, etc. They have my son convinced that the child should go on Ritilin. I am very uneasy with this drug solution. I do not know what his blood type is. I did tell my son about Dr. Rapp, pediatric allergist. Do you have any experience in treating kids with ADD? This child, when younger, had many ear infections and ended up with tubes in his ears. His personal food choices are very limited. My son and his wife think I am a little nuts on the subject of food and people's behavior. I value your opinion.
