Dear AJ, Some type O people following the diet may still require time for them to lose weight. This could result from: 1. Thyroid problems (common in O's) 2. Severe insulin resistance (weight loss will occur, but lag time is longer, as the person is "metabolically locked" and must gradually regenerate new insulin receptors. This is common in O's with long histories of carbohydrate eating.) 3. Not enough exercise. #'s 1 and 3 you can do something about. For #1, read the section on Bladderwrack (Fucus) and see if you can get hold of some. #3 is fairly straight-foward: 35 minutes of vigorous exercise at least 4x weekly. #2 requires "tincture of time." Hope this helps, Peter
