Dear Nora, Why don't you go your local bookstore and just look the book over? The website is not necessarily designed to convince someone to try the diet as much as give people who have bought the book an outlet to get their questions answered. As regards to what type of help one could expect... I suppose at the least it would help someone fine-tune things a bit in a way that might be specific to certain individuals over others. Peter
