In Response To: Candida and gluten in type O. (David Simon)

Dear David,

Gluten sensitivities are indeed much more common in type O, and with regard to Candidasis, I've found that while type A's have a more classic type "over-infestation of Candida when out of balance, type O's tend to develop more of a "hypersensitivity" or allergy to Candida when their gut is unbalanced.

This type O "over-sensitivity" to Candida is often accompanied by liver dysfunction, typically the detox pathways, and can manifest as Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, thyroid imbalance, CFS or hypoglycemia.

Hope this helps,
Peter
