In Response To: AB and allergies (Diana Van Hise)

Dear Diana,

AB's make a LOT of mucous when they are out of balance. Some of this is due to the fact that their colon bacteria become more and more unbalanced if they don't eat according to their AB type.

Temporarily, do the AB diet as best as you can, trying to weave a combination of the results from the ELISA-ACT test and the blood type diet. You will be more restricted for 3-4 weeks, but you should be able then to gradually re-introduce the foods which are considered good or neutral for your type, but conflict with ELISA-ACT.

Also, do the lemon and water drink in the morning as mentioned in the book. Use 1/4 to 1/2 lemon to 6-8oz warm water. Don't eat for about 5-10 minutes after taking. This will really start to cut into the mucous, and will help your lower GI tract to "slough off" and cleanse itself.

Let me know how you are doing in, say, 3-4 weeks.
