AB and allergies

Dear Dr.D'Adamo, I have enjoyed your book, and hearing you on Dr. Hoffman's radio program. I do plan on beginning the diet this week. What I do not understand is how to deal with having allergies to many of the foods you say are best for AB's. I had the Elisa-Act test done, and it showed I was allergic to dairy, eggs, coffee, broccoli, salmon, among other foods. Will these allergies eventually go away if I stick to AB foods to which I am currently not allergic? Although, the Elisa-act test did not show allergy to soy, I think I may have a problem with that, too, because of all the mucus my sinuses produce and how my ears get full of fluid. I am so frustrated about eating because no matter what I have tried, I never stop being sick with throat, sinus, ear problems, weight and blood pressure problems. Although I am looking forward to starting this diet, I am so dismayed at how restricted I will be because of the allergies, and the fact that lamb and mutton turn my stomach, I really dislike their taste and texture alot! I really need some encouragement and some good news, like yes, the allergies can go away! Thanks. Diana Van Hise
