Low hormone level/weight gain

Number one let me thank you for creating this message foremat. Hope you do not become overburdoned in responding.
I am a 51 year old female/post menopausal and
I am active, work full time and do cardio workout at least three times weekly. I have followed a low carb diet for years, but thanks to your new book I am finetuning my diet to a blood type "O" protocol.
As a Registered Nurse (RN/CCRN] I am normally in a position of educating others, this time I am really stumped! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
