My 68 year old mother was just diagnosed with this. Her doctor did not explain what it is, what it effects etc. She is in extreme pain, can't sleep
and was put on prednisone. Is it terminal? is it hereditary? Is it amuscle disease or liver disease. He mentioned her sedrates being high. What is that. Please excuse my spelling on some of the medicines. Any info would be greatly appreciated. We can't find anything in the medical books.
