I have been diagnosed with PMR since 1993 and have been on Prednisone the whole time from 10 to 20 mg daily they have tried to replace the prenisone with MNethotrexate without success and then Immuran with the same results. My most recent sed rate was the highest in the 5 years 124, I am on paibkileers 4x day and am in constant arm and shoulder pain. I have had to have my right hip repklaced , 2 cataracts a knee replacement and I fear Avacular Necrosis in my right shoulder. Does anyone know of a doctor whose specialty is that disease
