In Response To: Re: Type A+ Did Well on Zone Diet, Now Incorporating Blood Type Diet (Peter D'Adamo)

Read your book today and I am rather discouraged. I did ok on the zone, too. I decided that I wanted to be vegetarian because of my commitment to yoga and because I was seeming to be more sensitve to more foods and feeling less satisfied ( I wasn't following the zone so closely during the holidays). After 6 weeks of eating vegetarian, I feel worse. I am scheduled for my first Pancha Karma and as I understand it one of the therapists takes into account your work--so I bought your book. I am lactose intolerant, can not eat legumes without misery, react to nightshade, and think that wheat may be a new problem. Spicey has been a problem lately. I've gained 20 lbs since August and I'm miserable. I'm old enough that I don't want any more food issues: I would eat any diet (and not eat alot of foods) if I could feel decent and maintain a reasonable diet. Can't eat soy either.I can't stand the weight much longer, but I really don't want to do the starvation thing anymore .Suggestions? Thanks. Sheridan
