It's my understanding that the good doctor here is right about both chloride and picolinate. I understand, tho', that Chromium Polynicotinate which is chromium bound to nicotinic acid (Niacin or B-3) is far safer as a dewlivery vehicle for chromium. Ideas? I've patients who've used all 3 kinds, and the Poly and Pico forms seem to work just as well, and by using the polynicotinate form with the added piece of mind that they're not introducing something possibly carcinogenic.
