My son has been having difficulty with irregular heartbeats, pain in chest, pain in shoulder, numbness in arm, hands, face and nobody can tell him what is wrong. He is a 29 year old male in otherwise good health but somewhat overweight. He is scheduled for an echocardiogram in two weeks. He has had an ongoing throat infection and been on various antibiotics for last two months without it clearing up. Last Thursday was put on a mega dose of antibiotic and today his chest etc feel better. If he had inflamation of his arteries would the antibiotic have cleared it up and if so would it then show up on the echocardiogram as having experienced it so that a check can be followed up. Thanks for your input!
