I am in the same straights; going to 7.5 next week
from 10mg starting last July; onset of sx in March 97,
and I find that it is essential to lower the dose by
only 1mg at a time. I find that, if possible, keeping
activity level strictly the same and measured is very
helpful, ie. I play 9 holes of golf with 3-4 balls every
day or 18 holes with one ball. Take Rx at 7am every day
by the clock, and lower dose 1mg every month or so,
depending on my body and general well-being, which can
not be measured by anyone but the patient. Do blood
work every 2 months or so esp. for C-Reactive Protein
and Sed rate & CBC. Take extra vits, calcium, vit D.
Be careful when out, and be positive.
