Dear Dr. D'Adamo,
I am a type O who has
been on a special low
fat/calorie and high
exercise diet since July
1996. I have lost 35 lbs.
and hope to lose 35
more.
I would like to know
how I can stick to the
program I am currently
following but using
the foods that you
suggest for my blood
type.
Following is a sample
of what foods I eat
each day.
Breakfast: 1/2 c oatmeal
4 oz applesauce or 1/2
an apple
Snack: 2 egg whites,
4 oz applesauce
Lunch: 2 oz fish/chicken
potato, vegetable
Snack: 2 oz fish
Dinner: same as lunch
Obviously, I've had
success with the diet.
And have stayed quite
healthy (I also take
vitamin supplements).
But the type O diet
doesn't allow oatmeal
or potatoes, what
can I eat in place of
them (I don't like
sweet potatoes)?
I just don't want to ruin
what has been working
for me all these months.
Thanks for your help,
time and book (I sent
a copy to my Grandparents
in hopes that it will
help my Grandpa with
his thyroid/heart
problems)!
Danielle
