I have been a vegetarian for about 4 years for purely ethical reasons. I will not eat any flesh. I am also type O blood. I have recently discovered the book Eat Right For Your Type and at about the same time have noticed that I do seem to feel better when I eat eggs and dairy, both of which I tried to give up for a couple of years. I am wondering whether this is a genuine effect (I believe it is) or autosuggestion after reading the book. Is there really no option to a carnivorous diet for a type O? Will an ovo-lacto diet suffice and if so are there any precautions to take? I cannot imagine myself eating meat again. I would rather my health suffer somewhat than my principles. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Susan
