Following surgery recently, I have spent the last three
weeks with this same problem, which has been diagnosed
as gastritis, since gall bladder was ruled out. I
was given 150mg Axid at first, but it didn't work
and I ended up back at the hospital for the second
time in pain, with severe diarrhoea and vomiting.
This time I am on Losec which is a stronger med.
Have any of you managed to reduce the symtoms or
gotten rid of them altogether? If so, how did you
do it. I am on day 3 with Losec, and it doesn't
seem to be working any better than the Axid. I still
can't eat or drink much.
Thanks for any help.
