In Response To: Re: O's and low protein diet (Dr. D'Adamo from Sally H.)
Dear Dr. I see one message was lost and the other posted twice, my error. I will try again. Thank you for your answer. The corn test makes sense now. I have no problem eating one serving of fish or poultry daily. My problem is feeling like I'll starve 4 days out of 5 in order to keep the 80%-20% ratio up, as I will eat rice/pasta/dairy only one day out of 5 with the fruits and veggies. Then only fruits and veggies the other 4 days with one serving of fish or poultry as one is all I prefer. I know I will lose weight and while I am in favor of that, I find that the hypoglycemia tends to come back if I eat nothing but fresh food and one serving of animal protein as I prefer not to eat more. I feel like Laura Lee. I enjoy the oriental diet along with grains/dairy. It's hard for one who prefers not to eat animals to be born with type O blood. What do you think of Beef Not that she uses? I suspect it's something like tofu so that wouldn't work either. It seems difficult to maintain weight and/or keep one's health up, while sticking to the correct eating program for one's blood type. I've never had surgery or illness over the years, only weight control problems. I feel like I'm between a rock and a hard place. I do want to give your program a fair period of time. Thanks again for all your help. Sally H.
