In Response To: depression, hot flashes (k baske)

I WAS HOSPITALIZED AND DIAGNOSED AS HAVING AN ATTACK OF ACUTE INTERMITTENT PORPHYRIA (AIP). WHEN I WAS RELEASED I WAS GIVEN A LIST OF MEDICATIONS I WAS NEVER TO TAKE AGAIN, IN ORDER TO PRECENT ANOTHER ATTACK. I AM A 40 YEAR OLD FEMALED THAT HAVE BEEN TAKING "ESTRATEST" HORMONAL THERAPY, DUE TO A COMPLETE HYSTERECTOMY AT THE AGE OF 30.
I EXPERIENCE SEVERE HOT FLASHES, SOMETIMES EXPERIENCING 3-4 HOT FLASHES A DAY WITH DEPRESSION, INSOMNIA, AND IRRITABILITY. WHAT WOULD YOU SUGGEST I INGEST OR TRY TO TAKE CARE OF THESE SEVERE SYMPTOMS WITH REGARD TO MY CONDITION?

ANYTHING YOU CAN SUGGEST WOULD BE OF GREAT HELP!

THANKS
