I was diagnosed in March, 1997. High doses of predisone relieved symptoms, but caused typical side effects, such as "buffalo hump", moon face, swollen feet and ankles. Am tapering off presently, but having exacerbation of pain and movement problems. Would like to talk to others about the course this disease takes. Thanks, Gaile
