Dear Sally, O's can survive on lower grade proteins, such as fish and poultry. Just try to get a serving in daily. Corn, on the other hand, is an especially important avoid for this type, so even with the lack of a "demonstratible" allergy to corn, you should be wary of using too much of it. The reaction between corn and type O is not verifiable through standard allergy type testing (lectins don't provoke the antibody formation that the allergy tests look for.) Peter
