Julia,

I have almost the same symptoms you described.

The inability to eat seemed to be relieved with a series of medications for helicobater pylori.

The problems for me now are that the build up of gas seems to create chest pains and shortness of breath.

Two physicians later I am now at Johns Hopkins to go through the barium procedure.

I would suggest you look into testing for the helicobacter pylori and keep me informed.

Also why would you wait for two years to continue with diagnostic tests ?
