I just left the hospital having being diagnosed with serious Celic Sprue. I had/have diarrhea since October 1996 and lost sofar 34 pounds. Now it is the waiting driving me crazy to see if a strict gluten and lactose free diet will rebuild the intestinal lining. What is the average timeframe to wait until this happens? Any tips to accelerate this is appreciated.
