I am confused? What new medication did you find? I found this site doing a search on "synthroid and soy". I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's but taking the thyroid prescribed makes everything worse. I get more tired, more listless, etc.. In stead of having the thyroxine increase the amount available, I felt it was triggering more antibodies. I read in the package insert, that "soy products' are contraindicated when taking that brand of thyroxine. Soy is one of my very worst allergies. It is like the princess and the pea. If there is even a trace of soy oil, I react. I was wondering if there was some relation - ship between 'soy' and 'thyroid antibodies' . That was why I was doing this search. I just found out about Dr. D'adamo's book so have not read it yet. I will however see if I can get my endrocrinologist to prescribe the
"Armour's" in the meantime. (But I would also like to know what this new medicine is that brought your T-3 up.
