In Response To: Type A+ and Graves Disease (Lisamecca)
Hello, My fiance has had a run of bad luck here recently. She was diagnosed with Tye 1 Diabetes and just today Graves Disease. The Dr. says that they want to dissolve her thyroid w/ radioactive iodine. Is this the safest way or are there any alternatives? HEr Dr. is supposed to be one of the best endocrinologists around but has really bad bedside manners. She was notified of these both by a message left on her voice mail just stating that she had type 1 diabetes & now that she has graves disease. Thats it, no call me asap, no do this or do that, just the message. Please send me any info you may have on Graves Disease or tell me who to contact. Thank you very much for your time!
