In Response To: Re: Type A stomach problems: gastritis vs. ulcer (Peter D'Adamo)

I am very interested in finding and reading your book. Don't know how I stumbled across your message board..... My daughter (Kristin, age 8) has been diagnosed with an ulcer due to the overproduction of stomach acid......well they couldn't find any other reason. My question is how can an ulcer be caused by an under production of stomach acid.. My poor little daughter continues to suffer,,,,,, even though taking Prilosec for almost 4 weeks, she is still in intense pain.. She has also been diagnosed with delayed reaction food allergies,,,, wheat, milk, yeast, and a few more. We are seeing and paying for a doctor ourselves, who is testing for other things as well.... Anyway, sorry to go on and on..... Will anticipate the answer to my question. Thank you
