Dear Pat,
Small amounts of finely milled wheat flour have very low amounts of wheat germ agglutinin in them. This is not to advocate eating refined carbohydrates, as they have other health consequences Because many of the avoid foods can be detrimental in even small amounts, you should be careful about using them even if they are present in combination with other, beneficial foods. You probably haven't messed up your metabolism past repair, you will just need to change your eating habits and give those changes long enough time to produce results. Peter
