This happens, and can be discouraging. However, if the person is metabolically locked up through the effect of insulin mimicking lectins from the old diet, the only real solution is to keep on the diet and let time continue to work on the problem. Look at it like this: any time spent on the diet while "plateaued" is effort invested in developing the ability to not yo-yo later on. So something IS actually happening, though externally it may not appear to be so. Peter
