BTW, Are you Bill Wolcott the ND? As regards to sources of caprylic acid, I believe you are right in that it is derived from coconut. My guess why I've never seen reactions to it in type B's is that in making the extract, whatever is in coconut, ie some protein, is washed out. Peter
