Ever notice how many times you hear that phrase on TV?
In the future listen. And listen to your own speach in the meantime.
We have all been indroctinated into the concept that we should all be excited all the time.
When was the last time you heard on TV, "I feel reflective.? or "I feel like studying?"
This constant harping on exciment is subliminal and has now been exposed by me.
No wonder that many people and kids are hyperactive. The large agri-business corporations are quite happy (and excited) about the situation as it allows them to sell more sugary garbage to the want to be excited people.
To put the frequency of excitement - and all the complications of adrenaline - into context, compare the stimuli of today's TV verses life thousands of years ago.
A hunter would have a few periods of exciment each day; but only on days with weather conducive to hunting.
A farmer would have even less days of excitment: hail, locusts, or harvest time.
Of course there would be a few periods of excitemnt at night in the sack, but that would pale in comparison to the onslought of today's media.
