Okra for stews/soups

One of the best ways to use okra is to take advantage of its thickening properties by adding it to stews and soups. When you have a successful harvest, it is great to slice and freeze okra to add to soups in the winter. BEFORE ER4YT I used to make a glorious stew with tomatoes and okra but now no tomatoes for this A.
