In Response To: Are Soy Products Safe (Jim ( A rh- ) Aus)
Hello Jim,
The article you reference is by advocates of a paleo-type diet which maintains that meat should be a staple in everybody's dietary regime. This is typical of a one-size-fits-all approach. Dr. D'Adamo's research indicates there are variables in dietary selections; dependent, of course, on blood type.
For me personally, as a Type A; I have always had a problem consuming red meat on a regular base, and finally realized the reasons once I discovered the blood type connection.
Now, regarding the soy controversy. Dr. D'Adamo advises using organic soy products by certain 'blood types'; particularly tempeh, miso and natto. The issues brought up in this article are addressed innumerable times in the Ask Dr. D'Adamo segment (linked below) and as many times throughout the Archives by Dr. D'Adamo. There is also an excerpt in LR4YT on this subject.
I would encourage you to look throughout this site for references to this and many other subjects....the education is invaluable!
