Haricots (UK name) = navy beans

As far as I know the beans we in the UK call haricot beans are what the Americans call navy beans.

Yes, haricot is a name for bean generally but when used specifically for a bean variety here, I think it is navy beans.

US friends: Heinz baked beans: do they use navy beans? They use haricot here.

Hey, I'd be glad to find haricots are NOT an avoid for As as I practically existed on them pre-BTD!!!
