I quit about 10 years ago and ate a lot of frozen yogurt (which made me gain a lot of weight, and don't recommend)
Exercise helped me a lot; a relaxing yoga class or video might also be a good idea. You could also get an aromatherapy diffuser and put some lemon or chammoline essential oil in it.

I think it helps when you quit a big habit to surround yourself with things/people/foods you really like. Maybe you could stock up on your favorite Type A food and eat it everyday or allow yourself some extra indulgences (health food cookies, etc).

The first few weeks are the hardest. After that you will be home free. Cathy
