Also, you may not want to go the chemical route, but the anti-depressant Wellbutrin (also sold as Zyban, but it's virtually the same thing), can really help a lot. Wellbutrin is something that most insurance companies will cover, but they generally won't cover Zyban. Anyway, you may not want to take pills, but if it gets really bad for you, I think it's preferable to smoking again, and you only need them short term.

In any case, good luck to you, Rosemary. It's not easy, but it's very rewarding.

Quit smoking 6 years ago this last Christmas.
