Tryptophan and Tyrosine Questions...

Joachim, that was a very interesting post. It brought up a few questions for me, and although I do know you're not a proponent of supplements, here goes: 1) I'm taking one of the NAP supplements that contain Tyrosine, AND I have trouble sleeping (always have). It's great for depression and other things. Has it been known to be too stimulating, though, and thus be a problem for people prone to sleep issues? Is it possible that it could be competing with Tryptophan? 2) I'm an almost grainless O non secretor. To get more tryptophan from food other than grain, do you have a suggestion? Thanks for all your wonderful expertise! Mary
