On Beer

Hi
Beer is an issue. I was very dissapointed it was not listed as OK in LR4T for O's, but I kept drinking it anyway. For those of you who don't know, almost all beer has Barley malt as a primary component. Well, it turns out I may be gluten intolerant as well (celiac) which means I really can't drink it because barley has some of the same offending proteins as wheat. So I've been brewing gluten free beer with other grains recently.
But I'd say if Beer is your only regular transgression of the diet, and if you aren't noticing problems, go for it at least once in a while. It wasn't a problem for me to cut bread out of my diet. But to cut out all beer was out of the question, which is why I'm brewing my own (a lot more work, but quite rewarding).
