there are natural salt licks but the country side is becoming so populated they are losing their habitat and the salt licks so we put out salt for them but when starting a new lick we use table salt to get it started only till they are attracted once it soaks into the stump they come back and lick the stump and graound around the stump from the meleted salt but mayber i should use the sea salt for them also .
