I have tried farmed salmon and it tastes better than wild salmon...most of wild salmon we get has a fishy taste, is tougher,and is most often not "fresh" even though it is cheaper...in season. If everyone opted for wild foods and range fed beef and chicken we'd be starving to death!!! Do we all really want to go back to the middle ages... Not all modern techniques and genetic engineered foods are harmful. We are living longer, healthier and more active lives....I DO take exception to the foods like chips cookies and cracker snacks that are basically carbo junk food...but how can we feed the world without the fert. and pesticides that make things grow...they can be washed off..just as you have to do with the half rotten, buggy, organic veggies I see in the hf stores! ( I just ducked 'cause I know I'm going to get clobbered.!!
