Does the milk get rid of the fishy taste too?

I tried sardines the other day. Wonderful, smoked sardines in olive oil from Norway. EEEYUK! Too fishy for me. I even tried eating them smothered with cream cheese on a Matza cracker. I tried, really I did. I'd love to be able to eat them since they're supposed to be HB but...if I could just get rid of the fishy taste.
Love,
Frances
