...many people who consider themselves vegetarian. When asked about their diet, I find that they eat "a little" fish or chicken and "rarely" red meat. After more discussion, I find out that they eat fish and chicken often and red meat once in awile. These are politically correct vegetarians. The term means different things to different people. You have to find this out in order to know where they are coming from. In ER4YT, I think D'Adamo is using the term loosely and not in the strictest sense. In LR4YT, certain fish are considered highly beneficial and can be eaten up to five times a week, depending on what type of A you are. Turkey is beneficial for type A non secretors and can be eaten up to four times a week with a suggested minimum of two times. I would hardly consider this a vegetarian diet, yet some people, including D'Adamo apparantly do probably because the diet is still largely plant based.
